I had a pleasant stay at the Menlo Park Inn. The rooms were quiet and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities like slippers, an eye cover, and earplugs. The archways added a unique touch, and everything was spotlessly clean. The service was a bit mixed with some misunderstandings but overall accommodating and impressive. The location was excellent for exploring downtown Menlo Park and nearby attractions. The dining experience offered a good selection, but there is room for improvement. Facilities were satisfactory, providing a comfortable stay overall.

I stumbled upon a real gem with this hotel. The rooms were exquisite, and the welcome plate with a biscuit, nuts, and complimentary water was a lovely touch. However, the musty smell from the cookie left in the room was a downside for allergy sufferers like me.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms felt like a great wine find, but the musty odor left from the cookie was terrible from an allergy standpoint.
Service
9.0
The staff was very helpful and welcoming, although some more attention to detail, like vacuuming under the furniture, would have been appreciated.
Location
10.0
The location couldn't have been better. Right downtown in Menlo Park, walking distance to a street brimming with restaurants. It was so convenient to Stanford, Menlo Park, and even Facebook. The rate was also very competitive compared to other options around.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was not worth the visit for me. While the coffee and yogurt were good, the overall offering did not align with the price point. However, the American pancakes were a saving grace.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were satisfactory, with real plates and cutlery provided but needing improvement in line with the price. The preventative sound measures from adjoining rooms were beneficial.

I found this hotel to be a great choice for my stay. The rooms were a pleasant surprise, located furthest from the street, very clean, and equipped with all amenities like a microwave and a mini fridge. I even had a welcome plate with biscuits, nuts, and complimentary water waiting for me.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms were a great find, clean, and had all the amenities I needed.
Service
8.0
The service was good, and the location was convenient for all my events on the Peninsula. The staff was friendly and accommodating, like when I arrived to find the receptionist eating a bagel and still being very helpful.
Location
10.0
The location couldn't have been better, right in the center of Menlo Park near the train station. It was super convenient to reach places like Stanford, Menlo Park, and Facebook. Additionally, Raj at the reception was exceptionally nice and understanding of my concerns.
Dining
6.0
I had a bit of a joke with the facilities in the room, which seemed outdated and not in the best condition. However, the free breakfast was creative and ample, despite a misunderstanding about the ending time. It was a shame the bathroom door was rotted at the bottom and the carpet felt dirty.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities in the room were a bit old and dated, but the homemade organic products for breakfast made up for it.
